Conclusion by me: They all look different, choose the one you like. Speed is only really an issue with Darker Morrowind, which tends to be slower in interiors. However, Darker Morrowind seems to outperform the others often in exteriors, despite having the larger textures. Also, despite also having large textures, the Visual Packs seem to have consistantly good speeds.
My System Specs:
Intel Pentium M (Centrino) Processor, 1.99Ghz (yes, it's a laptop)
1GB RAM
NVIDIA GeForce FX Go5700
Windows XP
Morrowind was run on all the basic settings besides lighting, which was set to Quadratic. Resolution was set to 1024x768. View Distance and AI were both at max. No external programs (eg, FPS Optimizer) were used.
